Hi again

So - this was me last week - no telephone, no computer, no Craftboard, no cat (she came back pretty smartish when she realised not every household has the "special onion gravy" recipe :thumbup; :thumbup; )

Also had sore eye, sore toe (not connected) and toothache...

So if there is anyone up there looking after me - ha-blooming-ha....

'nuff said.........!!!

Love x

Fantastic frog! I just got startled by one in our garden, who jumped out as I bent down to look to see if the tadpoles had hatched. Almost fell in meself!

Lovely background, don't like the green thing though! :r :r :r

You'll be pleased to know I spend most of yesterday pottering and tottering about in the garden and a frog peeped out at me, ( abrown one)??? apart from jumping a bit I didn't bother too much. Jake was with me and I couldn't do my usual hysterics!
THEN it decided to crawl out, with me shouting, "NO NO, GO BACK UNDER YOUR STONE, don't come any further" Jake laughing his head off now and wanting to pick it up! Me slightly more hysterical now, "NO Jake leave it alone!" Then hubby came out and grabbed hold of it ,
me ... I'm off in the house quick smart like!!!!! :r :r

He's great,.. really froggy...

:r "David Attenborough Fails To Warn Cameraman Of Frog-on-Lens Dangers" ;)

Sorry, that was what came to mind first, Terry :thumbup; He's a real beauty though :art: :huggy:

Poppy, if you want to stop Jake touching Frogs, Toads, and Newts, you could tell him a little fact: Picking up amphibians, like handling fish, can burn their skin, by the acids in our hands damaging the slime that coats them for protection in the water :) It's true and well worth remembering.

Hi Mif, Poppy, Ros, Di, Col, and Steve - nice to be back - :ta: :ta:

The background doesn't really go with the frog - but was just how it was last week - happily sitting there (peaceful) doing flowers and with every new turn of events - I ended up like the crazed frog - jumping almost out of my skin....

Funny how we all get weeks like that - - you think it can't get worse - hey presto!!!!... :groan

Hi M - going to use your shotgun or mine????

Hey Poppy - my friend said when her tadpoles grow into little froglets, she's going to bring some over for my pond - my resident frog is ridiculously shy and only comes out for his power shower - so can't wait.....isn't it odd - you're frightened of them and they come to have a look at you, and we love them and they don't want to know.......

Didn't know that about frogs - Steve - so they should be more frightened of us then

We had two baby Giant African Land Snails once - - you can't beat that for slime and dribble.......(they are now living happily in an infant school) - ate me out of house and cucumber....

love x

I think this one is great...I love any animal (including anphibians) anyway...so any picture with them in is a bonus. It's amazing how 'the carzy frog ringtune' has influenced all of us :D

Think I'm sitting here with the box with a baby frog in it - no deal :thumbup; ;)

(That's such an addictive prog eh?) Noel Edmonds only lives a short drive from me - slightly nicer house mind :r :r  :groan we used to see his white helicopter going over (name dropping now)

I'll watch out for anything hairy in the title from now.....

love x
