Oh, that's bad news, Jinny :( There seems to be a new crop of them at the moment, but I know that plenty of folk are working hard to find ways to eliminate them :thumbup; Let's hope that Jen's PC is sorted out sooner rather than later :huggy:

I have had to quit a couple of forums as everytime I tried to get onto them my virus detecting softwear picked up and told me about the virus's immediately and wouldn't let me go any further until I rebooted to perminently clear the virus. This happened a few times when I retried to go on the same forums, so I have now deleted all the forums links. It has been fine since.
I found sometimes, downloading things from different sites you can end up with virus's in your pc! Mine was definately linked to an England football decoupage/ backing paper downloaded off another site I was on. Surfers beware!

Poor Jen, Hope she is online soon!

Virus's are nasty things

If you can get online (even with a virus) a good and established site for FREE online virus scanning is Trend Micro.

I have anti virus running all the time but now and then go on there as it picks up things that my anti virus and spyware doesn't.

NOTE: make take an hour or so for a full scan but worth it.

Good luck

John
