Both lovely - love the intermingling of fairy and the metallicy thing you do (which I really really like) Hope stylus withdrawal symptoms have now subsided (takes a while to get over a shock like that).... love x

I can relate to that Sylvia. I had intended to wax today too, but Emily isn't too well (she got my bug) so we sat and I introduced her to Les Miserables (and I only intended to sit and watch the beginning of that but I kind of got stuck there
) Two hours and several boxes of tissues later (Emily sneezing and me...well, that musical always gets to me!
) I realised that I'd done sweet fanny adams all afternoon.Still, as you rightly said.....there's always tomorrow! Maria x |

Maria, was it the Dreamcast version? Emma, when she lived in Ipswich, produced and directed a "potted" version for the Springfield Follies amateur dramatics group. Very good they were too. She also, the previous year, sang some of the songs of Fantine, with her hair down and in a wedding dress we found in the loft. Pass those tissues please....... |

Yes, it was the 10th anniversary concert. Not as good as the real thing (saw it when it first came out in London) but until they actually bring out the whole show on DVD that's all we have! Man....I SO want to go see it on stage in London again! Awesome! Maria x |

Hope Emily's feeling better very soon ![]() Les Mis is the greatest I wouldn't be without the Dream Cast edition (I've got it on video and DVD, mainly because the video's pretty well worn out). I've seen parts performed by others who've gained the roles since but that's kind of put me off seeing the stage show Emma used to get home from school and moan when it was on, then she couldn't be bothered to leave the room one day - hooked!
When she did her work on the section for the Follies, the Thenardiers were played by two she was very close to, one who was terrified of learning so much, but they put in tremendous performances for her It was incredibly moving
Poor Emma always had difficulty - she loved the roles of both Fantine and Eponine ![]() Steve |
