Took some photos at the weekend - unfortunately the bluebells were better the weekend before, but I didnt have my camera with me that time My intention is to create "an impression of bluebells" in wax next week. Heheheheh - not sure quite how successful it will be, so I thought I would share the real thing first There are some extra bluebells in the gallery, and one of Taz's Head and Ants Tail !

The bluebells here seem to have had a very short season, and all the rain and strong winds has wrecked them early
It's a shame. Great photo, Ros Looking forward to seeing the wax version

I did a bluebell picture a couple of years ago, I couldn't get the right blue at first but found mixing the ultramarine with the purple came out ok. ( encaustic colours) Love to see it when finished. Poppy

Ros Your photo was great ... bluebells are magical i love the colour and it looks just like a carpet!! Your pic is fine but I think if you are trying to imitate your phot you need more of the blue .... but i can see some bluebells in there ... keep up the good work! Jenx

Really good so far. Maybe it needs a bit more stylus work in the foreground to add more detailed bluebells, which I am sure you would do anyway. I really like this though....your trees are wonderful! Maria x |

Likewise! I think the trees in the foreground give the whole piece a lot more depth. Nice one Ros! Maria x |
