Ok so last night in class I had a go on the wheel.....

residents in the uk will remember a tv show called the Generation game....

remember on that show when they got the contestants to make pots on a wheel???

well picture it if you can.... :ph43r:

Me and my sister next to each other on the wheel.....

she's done it a few times, me a total beginer.

for a start the lump of clay I had was to hard, and I had to bin it,

by that time sister dear was half way int making a 30 piece dinner service!! :rlol:

my finished pot is, well, will be with a bit of tinkering, a small but cute little pot.

I took a lump of what is basically mud and made it into somthing, and that has pleased me no-end. :D :D :D :D :D

:congrats: on freewheeling, Mags :thumbup; Still find the thought of putting my hands on wet mud rather off-putting :r :r You'll have to post pics, you know ;)

Thanks steve, it is a mucky buisiness throwing pots, but very relaxing, I used to make mud pies as a kid, the goooo and glooop factor is about the same. :D

Unfortunatly Catherine didnt have her camera with her last week, so maybe after half term I can get a few picies.
