Fallen Leaf; sort of abstract

Hi everyone, I had a play around tonight and came up with this sort of leaf abstract, didn't want to put too much detail on the leaf but not sure now if it could do with some. It's A5 size on encaustic card which I waxed then put tissue around the edges and melted it in to the wax then crayoned over it with gold wax and sprinkled gold embossing powder on to it and used my heat gun to melt it all together it really does sparkle but the scan has taken it all away. I then used the stylus brush and did the leaf in the centre. I was happy with the result when finished but not sure if it is to everyones taste, would appreciate your comments and critique. Many thanks.
Love Willow

Being someone who is very much a 'green' person I absolutely LOVE this! It's so 3D! I don't think you could do anything more to it without spoiling what you have created.

Simply stunning!

What's not to like? It's gorgeous.

I'm not a green person, but I love the detail and texture.. I'd definately say I'd leave it as is,.. I'd love to see one in autumnal colours!

Well done,.. :thumbup; :thumbup;

Willow, that's absolutely fabulous! :art: development process? I sometimes struggle to remember to put wax on the iron :r Truly innovative and a stunning result :thumbup;

Col - I've heard that you're a "green person" the morning after a good party :r :r

:thumbup; :thumbup; :thumbup; Beautiful work Willow, doesn't need any more detail and I'm with Col, this would be fantastic in autumnal colours as well! :huggy: :love: Sylvia

It's just lovely - the textures and shimmeryness (?) against the very lifelike leaf works like magic.

Very innovative - well done you :thumbup; :thumbup; :thumbup;
