Hi, my scanner broke and I've just installed a new one. Tried to do some abstract for the challenge and ended up with these two landscapes instead (?)

In fact- there is a definite theme in my gallery - the same hills from slightly different viewpoints, but those 2 birds must be exhausted by now!!

And purple fantasy - my fave colour.

Question for Barry - how do you make your birds look 3D, do you dip in 2 colours first? Yours are so realistic.

Lovely landscapes Sal, the purple flowers in the first are beautiful and so reminiscent of the Corn flowers, (Centurea) in my garden out in bloom right now!

Great landscapes Sal. I have never been much good at doing birds with the iron. I don't know how Barry does them either! I usually use the stylus myself.

I had some lovely centaura in my garden too, Poppy. Only our rabbit (Gizmo) has taken rather a fancy to it and I caught him munching off all the buds the other day! He was banished to the rabbit run after that and was most put-out by it!

Excellent landscapes, Sal :thumbup; And don't worry - I'm always starting out intending one thing and ending with something completely different :D

Beautiful pics Sal, very tranquil and relaxing to look at - lovely how the light hits the hills too.
