Micro Madness...but Not As We Know It!

well, I had an attack of micro tip madness! and look! not a fluffy animal or bird in sight! ( for you lovely newbies, micro madness usually occurs when you realise how many cutesome animals you can create with your stylus and the micro tips! see my gallery for more!)

I was looking at the flowers in my garden, many have the 5 petal arrangement so I thought! "I can do that with the micro iron shaped tip!" so I did......and made them into cards for the craft fair me and mags are doing later this month!

Gosh - they're really pretty - the buttercup is so realistic, it looks like a pressed flower card - so good luck with these - I reckon they'll be a winner :thumbup;

These cards are brill - and just too late :rolleyes:

I tried making a flower card today for Father's Day; Rachel chose pink flowers and Sam wanted blue, and I added gold and silver highlights ( because I'd not tried the metallics before) but I think I should have studied the real thing first because I just couldn't do the stalks !! Mine are in my gallery - didn't dare post them :uhoh:

Catherine's look so realistic.

Keep it up, thats how I started doing flowers. The micro tip is my most used stylus tool attachment.
The purple one looks like Vinca.
Good luck with the fair Catherine.

Absolutely beautiful, Catherine :art: I can't get on with the micro iron :blush: Mine only seems to touch in the middle, not the whole area of it :wacko:

Sal, your flowers are lovely :thumbup; I haven't had the nerve to even try, so kudos for that and for getting an excellent result :thumbup;

Hi Catherine

I loved your flowers and couldnt wait to have a go this afternoon, I have turned mine into a card for the CarftBoard B'day Comp (I hope you dont mind - I wasnt pinching your idea, I just started with a flowery picture then decided to start cutting them out for some reason, and voila I had a 3d card!!)

So Thank You for your wonderful tips and techniques, as you can see I put them into action asap!

Keep all your brilliant ideas coming, I love looking for your photos, you amaze me at how much you do!! :nw: :nw: :nw:
