Hi Poppy,
It's looking a bit overcast here at the moment - almost as though it might RAIN .......

We have a lot of brown grass too, cracks in the ground like death valley, with a few green patches ! For instance, we have a standard Hibiscus growing in the grass and we have been watering that with the hose so obviously it has a green oasis around it - surprising just how resilient grass is, soon recovers once the rain comes.

Tapestry stamps - no, you didn't, did you ?????

I saw some very pretty cards done with these when we were in a craft shop yesterday, they had used minute dots of coloured sparkle which "raised" the images and looked really attractive.

I've bought most of my stamps from QVC. They have all been top quality and wonderful to work with!
Am I the only sad one to use QVC?

I find they bring new ideas and products from the USA quicker that any one else. Sadly in the UK we seem to be trailing the USA!

May be this is a good excuse to save up and visit America!!?? I've always fancied a few days retail therapy in NY but never got round to it, YET!

Any decent crafting shops in NY?

If you are interested in the Art Impressions stamps, you might like to see cards made with these by Karen who owns my local craft shop - I don't think we are supposed to post actual links here though - try http://www.pullingontheglitz.co.uk/index.html

I have left a gap where www goes !

Oh, thanks, Steve - I had the idea that you didn't want direct links posted - must have been dreaming - anyway, it's worth a look :thumbup;

Sylvia, the only links that need to be cleared first are non-crafting ones, though usually only if posted as a first post by a completely new Member ;) That's just to discourage Spam posting by the unscrupulous :)
