Had a go at the more fantasty themed style.

Not really my forte to say the least but will keep on trying. I've never been one for strong bright colours but the waxes blend themselves don't they, seems that whatever you whack on just works colourwise.

A friend from across the road has just been over for a 'play'. Think we may have another addict in the making!

I better give it a rest for a bit, kids are giving me that 'will she ever feed us?' look!

See you later

Amanda, I split this away from the first pic, as it deserves its own comments :thumbup;

I think it's fantastic :thumbup; You've used a great selection of colours for fantasy work, really warm and powerful :)

Hope your friend gets hooked :D

:o You simply CANNOT be a beginner! :o

This is stunningly good! I love the bright colours and the way your eye is taken into the picture. The cool colours at the front really contrast well with the red-hot sky.

You reckon fantasy isn't your forté? I reckon you're wrong!

Amazing!

I have to agree with Maria, I really like this one, it seems to draw you into the middle of the piece, and the colours really blend well :thumbup;

Sounds like you are hooked, doesnt take long does it! :r

Keep up this brilliant work :thumbup;

I'm really flattered guys, thank so much. Maybe the fact it's a photo and not a direct scan may be doing it more justice than it deserves, lol!!

I'd like to say that the dark dot on the horizon is a mysterious distant moon and not a blob of green that fell off the end of my iron :r

I can't tell you how much I'm itching to get my hands on a stylus but I love etching away with a darning needle!!!

Think I'll try a bit of abstract tomorrow :huh:
