Having finished my parchment card (great sighs of relief, it's a wedding anniversary card and I was very anxious to get it right) I have had another play with the chicken stamp - definitely one for a child, I think - anyway, here it is

I am now backing off from chickens and leaving the field clear for Poppy before I get totally obsessed with chickens and eggs - she is sure to come up with something sensible and I am looking forward to seeing her designs

Hi Poppy, I gather your chicken stamp has arrived, so thought I'd wish you good luck with your designing - I really am looking forward to seeing what you come up with! (you could always set your students the "chicken" idea for their homework and see what THEY design ?) |

I'm sure you will come up with more than "an" idea, once you get going ! By the way, only mentioned your students because I thought it would be even more ideas for Amanda -she is so eager to see cards made using her stamp - I wish I had HALF her energy ! I am what Helen calls a numpty (lovely word) with computers but I hope in time to be able to use mine in card making, e.g. for words/inserts etc ? For instance I think that captions would work well with the "jokey" chicken cards but I haven't got the know-how.  |
