Having finished my parchment card (great sighs of relief, it's a wedding anniversary card and I was very anxious to get it right) I have had another play with the chicken stamp - definitely one for a child, I think - anyway, here it is

I am now backing off from chickens and leaving the field clear for Poppy before I get totally obsessed with chickens and eggs - she is sure to come up with something sensible and I am looking forward to seeing her designs :thumbup;

Hi Poppy,
I gather your chicken stamp has arrived, so thought I'd wish you good luck with your designing - I really am looking forward to seeing what you come up with! (you could always set your students the "chicken" idea for their homework and see what THEY design ?)

I'm sure you will come up with more than "an" idea, once you get going !

By the way, only mentioned your students because I thought it would be even more ideas for Amanda -she is so eager to see cards made using her stamp - I wish I had HALF her energy !

I am what Helen calls a numpty (lovely word) with computers but I hope in time to be able to use mine in card making, e.g. for words/inserts etc ? For instance I think that captions would work well with the "jokey" chicken cards but I haven't got the know-how.
