Sounds good, Poppy I do have a couple of problems: no suitable pics and "Winners may be required to participate in publicity"
I don't do publicity stuff Good luck to all who do enter ![]() (By the way, our Works is closing )Steve

I just did it for the ride anyway?? But I wanted to flood the comp with Encaustic? One thing puzzles me, if we are only allowed 1 entry per person? Then why have some people obviously got more than 1 in????? Ours will go up together I expect? Prob page 23? Poppy Good luck, I'll vote for you all when i see them. |

OK, so I've conceded and put in one, though I've retitled it to reflect the theme
We'll have to keep our eyes on the gallery now Steve

I'm the second one, Poppy Of course, that kind of accuracy could well explain whyt it appears as if some folk have submitted more than one painting

How much of a coincidence is that though?, for them to get your name mixed up with me, when we obviously sent them in at different times from different email addresses! wierd... especially that we know each other, they could have mixed you up with anyone!
So if you win Steve do I get the prize? As for multiple entries it doesnt look like it is being monitered very well does it? Sally |

Well...I just went along and bunged in some votes and it appears that you can vote more than once. So I thought I'd see what would happen if one voted for oneself, expecting not to be able to do so......but apparently, you can! That, for me, makes a total mockery of it all, because not only can people vote for their own work, they can put as many votes in as they like! Somewhat biased competition really! So if you want an encaustic one to win...better get voting now!! Maria x |

I sent a pic in, i will go have a looky at the gallery in a mo, just read the terms and conditions, "Online voting will be monitored. Multiple votes from a single IP address for an individual entry will be ignored for the purposes of choosing the winner" I wonder who is going to be checking up on that then?? :ph43r: |

Ah..never saw that Catherine! Well, lets hope someone monitors it all, though I reckon they'll have their work cut out for themselves! Mind you, they aren't exactly monitoring all the multiple entries are they?
I'll look out for your pic! Maria x |

Maria it seems a bit of a shambles to me, multiple voting, multiple entries, doesnt look like the Works are doing much monitoring, I have voted for evryone Sallyx |
