Having created a free account with Photobucket.com, you'll need to decide how you want to use it ;) Some use it as just a holding space for all the images they upload, whatever their nature. Others use Photobucket as a gallery and rely on services like ImageShack for other image uploads (such as joke pics or graphics).

I would suggest using it as a gallery. You can divide it into sub-albums, so you could have different sections for, say, cards, encaustics, watercolours, etc. :thumbup;

1. Log in.
2. You will see the following: Posted Image
3. At 1 you have the upload box. You can upload a single pic or, by clicking on "Add more images" once or twice, you can upload multiple pics.
4. Having selected the pics you want to upload, and giving them descriptions if you wish, click on "Upload".
5. At 2 you can enter a title for a new sub-album if you wish. SImply type in the title and click on "Create" :thumbup;

If you wish to upload pics to a sub-album, you must first select that album by clicking on its name! Clicking on the little circle will not change where pics are uploaded to!

Once your pics are uploaded, what next? Well, you will see all the pics in an album below the upload area:

Posted Image (n.b. pics removed from screenshot)

Below each pic, you will see three lines: URL, Tag and Img. If you click on the box beside Img, its contents will be automatically copied. You can then paste that into your post here :thumbup; Just for info, the URL line is the location of your pic, which may be used where adding it to blogs etc. The Tag line is HTML code which can be used on web pages and in some other locations ;)

I hope this helps :)

Steve :)
