My brain HURTS! So far, it's all been very positive with the library one. Not been in since Saturday though, but I have had several lovely emails from people who have seen it, plus a couple of posts on the website guestbook from people, so it's all very encouraging! And Annette...if you read EVERY post on here......you'd never see the light of day! Maria x

Not had a chance to go down there since last week, Sally, but it did seem to be getting some positive comments in the guestbook! Still only the one sale (at least then, not had a chance to check it out this week yet) which has at least covered the hanging fee, so I'm pleased about that. The fact that so many complete strangers have taken the time to say such lovely things in the guestbook is enough for me. The experience has been brilliant, and I have certainly gained a lot of self-confidence as a result! Will let you know as the last few weeks go if there are any further developments. Maria x

Emily went in yesterday and forgot to tell me until about 7pm last night ('oh by the way mum......') I almost fell off my chair and thought she was kidding me. She had to get her friend to confirm it such trust I have in her! You can tell we are a family who like to play practical jokes on one another, can't you! Anyway, it's done wonders for my confidence! I've sold 6, not 7 (unless you know something we don't know Barry! ) but I am thrilled! The 6 that have gone are: A Place of Solitude Horse Dragon's Dawn Golden Falls Midnight Falls Winter Landscape They are all on my website...just follow the link to the exhibition on the Home Page if you want a closer look. Still don't think I'm in profit, but I reckon I broke even, so that's brilliant! The exhibition manager said that I have sold the most they have had at the library in ages! Want to do another one now! Maria x

Finally tally of sold paintings still stood at 6, but I have a buyer for at least another 2 (possibly 4) so I am well-pleased! They said that I had done the best at that library for absolutely ages! I also got a copy of the guestbook entries (they edited out all the crank ones) and I thought you might like to see:Guestbook ? I had to do a bit of editing on the scans myself to get rid of unsightly gaps, so there are 7 scans altogether. Hope they read OK! So that's it...finito! It's been a very positive experience and I think I have learned a few things for next time! Thanks to everyone for all the supportive comments!!! Maria x
