I asked for some old balls of yarn on freecylce a while back and I got a bag given to me containing this fleece type yarn......dunno what its proper name is, it had no bands on the balls, I tried to crochet with it and I couldnt so I got out my knitting needles and made a long wide strip......hey presto, the softest fleeciest wrap,shawl,scarf thingy! my stepmums birthday pressie (along with a house plant). :D

Good Old Freecycle eh? you can get some amazing things if you are quick!, I have managed to get a Fireguard and stairgates off my local site this week for my little micheivious grandson :thumbup;
