I have just joined today this site after discovering Encaustic art. Yesterday was the first time I attempted it, and I have posted my pics for your comments and advice!

Well done! Not bad for a first effort!

I particularly like the first one. That'd look great on a huge canvas (something for when you are a little bit more experienced though).

If you want to put the images straight onto your post instead of the links just copy and paste the third line of the links on photobucket and that should do it for you!

Can't wait to see your next batch! :thumbup;

Superb, Martine :art: My favourite has to be the last one :thumbup; But it's a close run thing :)

Sally's right, Barry's the best :thumbup; There's a link in his signature or at the top of the screen, just below the news announcement box ;)

If you remove the password rewuirement from your Photobucket, you can have a gallery button in your signature, too, and we can list your gallery in the index :thumbup;

Great start, Martine... I can see you are going to enjoy EA ... I am new to it too and I keep meaning to have another go at it... got as far as clearing my work table and actually getting the waxes etc out!

I, too, love the purple and red together but number 7 is really stunning and my absolute fav... well done you are doing very well,

:huggy: Thanks everyone.....you'll have me blushing!!

Steve - I don't know how to remove the password requirement!! Tell me what to do and I'll have a go :crossed:

Oh I've already found Barry by the way!! Just ordered a whole load of stuff from him. He's a gem! :thumbup;

Most of the pics I posted were on the small postcard size paper. The only one on larger (coloured) paper (A5) is the waterfall one.

Just thought.........I've got a day off work tomorrow............more waxing!! :lol:

:ta: Martine x (I NEED A SIGNATURE!!). How?! :blink:

Hi Martine :)

To remove the password from your Photobucket, go to "Account Options" (at the top of your gallery, and then scroll down to "Album Settings (edit my album settings)" and click on the underlined link :thumbup; "My album is:" has a little drop down box where you need to select "Public" and then click on "Save" :)

You can set up a signature on CB by going to "My Controls", look down the left for "Personal Profile" and then "Edit Signature" :) You can use the same instructions (codes) in there as you can in any normal post :thumbup;
