OMG you mean my perm-Don't LOL I went to the hairdressers 4 weeks before we got married with hair really long! and I asked for a long shaggy perm-well when I came out the hairdressers I was in tears as my hair was sitting on top of my shoulders and really curly------and to rub salt in my wounds hubby came home and saw my hair and said I looked like deardri(sp)-(how do you spel that?) barlow from corination street(soap here in uk) well that was it I cried most of the night -----We live and learn-lucky for me my hair grows quick

great page jin! in defence of the hairdresser, I did hundreds of perms like that! Id like to appologise to each and everyone of my poor clients!  the 90's was the era of the perm, wash and wear thats what they were called, small perm rods to get a tight curl, supposed to last for a year or so! not a good idea to get it done before a wedding but I bet it looked good 6 months later! if it makes you feel better, my hair shurnk by inches on my wedding day, had a roller set that morning, and was left with major ringlets that I swear were still there even after I washed it! now thats what I call a hair doo! ps, I have a cracking pic of me and mags.......cronic tight perms and huge glasses aka derdrie barlow! I might start a "look at my hair in the 1990's thread in the lounge! lol

 and also to the perm incident-Has put me off for life I tell ya.Sorry V I forgot  Yes a hair-doo thread sounds like a good ole laugh- How about as I was then and I am now thread-kinda from this to this page I think that would be a good giggle

Great page, Jinny Fortunately, my hair has only changed in colour - from black to grey, and varies in length according to season Unfortunately, for some reason Jenny thinks it needs cutting as we're coming up for Damo and Kellie's wedding
