as promised the finished relic I have made, It was put in an incinerator and burned with wood chips. I then polished it with bees wax. It looks more like wood than terracota clay ;)

Hi and thanks for your lovely comments, jinny I haven't hung it up yet, alot of the spare wall space in my house is newly plastered and I am a bit reluctant to ask hubby to drill holes in them ;)
