Have lots of little bits and pieces of cotton left so I played today, the doilies I made up, the shamrock is from the link in the member's only with the huge site and the hearts are from Roxy's valentine challenge last year, also in the member's only.
The black cat who is always so helpful, sat on my lap and purred the entire time, I don't recommend crocheting with a cat in your lap. She knows she's not allowed to touch the thread but she gets as close as she can. :D

Lovely work, Virginia :thumbup;

It would be more perilous crocheting with a really long haired cat in your lap :r :r :r

:r @Steve. I was thinking the same thing. :r

Virginia, I really love all your bits and pieces. I love the doily in the bottom left the best. It looks like a giant snowflake. Fantastic job lady. :thumbup; :hug: :hug:

Thanks, I do end up with odd bits of fur and my hair in the crochet if I'm not careful. :lol:

Sally I don't think I could do anything if Max sat on my lap...except maybe call 911 :r :r
Mardar I like that doily the best too, I have to go look at it and write down what I did before I forget! :D
I think I may use these as accents for purses.
The cat is so funny she sits with her ears back purring and every now and then reaches a paw out slowly then I say no and she goes back to watching. Minou just marches in and takes whatever she wants, she doesn't care what I say. Considering how old she is I spend a lot of time chasing her. :rolleyes: :r

When Jenny comes home for lunch, I move across to my armchair ;) Now the cat, Smokey, always sits with me (unless Jenny has some tempting meat products :P ) :) When Jenny goes back to work, though, Smokey tries to get to the sofa near the computer first :D Yesterday, he was in such a hurry to get there first, he knocked over loads of stuff and scraped his claws down my legs :o :eek: He hasn't learnt that I still win even if he does get there first :r :r :r

:r Do you mean "purrfectly" Virginia!

Lovely little bits and pieces, well done. I used to like tatting tiny butterflies and flowers but haven't done it for so long I've forgotten how to do it!

V... I love your `bits and pieces`

Wish I had a problem with crochet! cant do the patterns as I cant understand them !! Mum used to crochet but couldnt read the patterns and made fab blankets for the homeless abroad...

Cant do the cat on lap thing either ... lost my old ,(21) year old cat last year..

mind you I do have 2 dogs and the biggest loves to help when I am busy and still thinks she is a tiny puppy!!!.... she is getting on for 5 stone by the way ,(270lbs)

She is just so nosey!!

Great work V ... no parcel yet :weep:
