I have started on this bag, ive had to guess how big to make it, as I want to felt it when its made, using quite fine real wool yarn that looks as if its been brought from a small farm and not a big yarn company, Ive done double crochet....carried the colour and made the blocks, as you can see, the cream is so fine that the pink is still seeable......that will be fine when its felted as it will either not show or mix in! its massive at the mo as I just dont know how much it will shrink and how many times it will need running through the washing machine untill its felted quite tightly!
Ive just started the cream layer with the pink blocks, more photos will follow when that bit is done! :thumbup;

it went in the washer measuring 42cmx31 and came out 26cmx22 its so thick that it dosnt need lining, but I am off to the shops to find a popper or some type of fastner for it, I didnt make a button hole as I had no idea how much it would shrink! :thumbup;

Catherine the finished bag is gorgeous, you can see how thick it has gone, and it looks quite fluffy, the colours are perfect together, I can see you making more of these , you are bound to get requests for them :thumbup;
