as it happens I put a couple of small fleeces in the charity bag to go to the shop last week....Ive fished them out and I shall be chopping them this evening! :snip: :snip: :snip:

I wondered if you could chop up old ones, but it would mean lots of knots of maybe you could machine the ends together?

Hopefully spring is on it's way though so it would be summer by the time I knitted it! :r

I cut mine up in a spiral, no ends! but it shed little bobbles of fleece all over me! I have some large 12mm knitting needles on order, I tried it with 8mm and the fabric is too dence....this is my half term week project! (gotta do something while the kids are at home!) :thumbup;
