I made this square plate, marbled it with black and green slip, and glazed it in transparent glaze, I was really looking forward to picking this one up from college, I got into class this week and the teacher told me it had broken, he told me it had a stress fracture, I know it didnt because if was a good solid plate, more like he stressed when he droped the kiln shelf on it! the edges were very clean and there was no sign of any other "stress fractures" pah! so I had to clue it back together!

Thats lovely Catherine, pity about the crack, but its not too noticable :thumbup; , the colours are fab against the white :thumbup; Your teacher should take more care, seems to be a bit of a twit(amongst other words) if you ask me B) Is this the same one that you was having problems with last year?
