I brought this home from college this week, its not exactly how I wanted it, I asked for some cobolt blue and the teacher gave me something that came out midnight blue! the clay was rolled onto sack cloth for the texture, I pushed it into a mold and used lace on the rim......added the blue when it was leather hard, it was bisc fired and then I added transparent, it was fired at the wrong temp so it came out very dark and weird, the glaze hadnt melted proberly so the teacher suggested I coat it in white so it was fired again....... so Im not completely happy with it.....but hey thats the way of the clay I suppose!

I think it is a lovely blue plate and you can see the sacking pattern. A pity if you're not happy though, but I think it's fine!
