Hi there, I'm new, at least I don't remember posting before now. lol I am SHaron and do many crafts. At present, I'm involved in across stitch Tree of Life quilt topper and an embroidered wedding sampler for my daughter, who will be wed in July. I am 64, married ten years to Jerry and have 4 grown kids with 9 or 10 g'kids. I live in NW Washington and heard of this forum from Dave, a member on another forum I belong to. I'm looking to get invloved in some crewel stitchery next and look forward to learning more from those of you who have interests there. Sharon |

A very warm  to  Sharon  I've just been taking a look at crewel embroidery and have to say there's some beautiful pieces out there  We do have stitchers and quilters and I'm sure you'll have fun browsing
 I do hope you'll show us some of your pieces too

Hi Sharon and may i wish you a very big to I am just jen and known as Jen on here ... I am a few years younger than you but like you have 3 grown children .. i also have 7 grandchildren and my husband has 6 ... the eldest being married... well he is 15 years older than i am!! I am a patchwork and quilter , although never was in to sewing in any way , had a crisis and needed something to focus on , patchwork was it and that was 4 years ago ... havent done any lately though.... i also do parchment work ... learned that about 12 years ago ... i do card making ... my new love is painting though , water colours , acrylics and now learning encaustic wax art work ...also pastel painting. Check out the galleries on here and you will be amazed what talent there is here ... we all help each other and are a grand bunch of peeps!! Forgot to mention ... sense of humour is a must!! It will take ages to navigate and investigate.. shout if you need any help ?? Jenx |
