Catherine it does seem a pretty straight forward pattern, as long as you know your basic knit stitches :thumbup;

When they first came out with the teabags people were putting them on EBay for about £50.00! you never know you could maybe sell some if they work out to be easy :thumbup;

Catherine .... Hows the knitting going then??

I just checked out the pattern and it is dead easy ,(written for kids in mind)... doesnt he look gorgeous ??? if i had the wool i might give him a go myself but i got rid of all my odd bits of wool before we moved here ! I have knitted me , my daughter and grand daughter a scarf though in a wool valled boa which is really soft and feathery feeling ,

well, Ive got my eye on some yarn on ebay, its a sort of verigated grey, brown and moss green, perfect I reckon, and some light grey for his face, Ive got some shapes from a crochet toy that I could fiddle to make up monkey, I might have a go at crocheting one, as I dont have the right sized knitting needles, but Ive just been asked to make 3 more heart cushions as easter gifts for someone so It might be a while before I tackle this project, its deffo on the list of things to do! :thumbup;

im a very basic knitter jo, I find all those stiches on needles abit scarey! also Im very good at dropping stiches, at least with crochet you only have one stitch at a time on the hook! :blink: :thumbup;

Thats true Catherine and it is much easier to rectify a problem with Crochet, if I drop a stitch I usually end up re kintting the whole thing as I find it too fiddly to try and go back on myself and pick it up again :(
