I have been working on creating some digital scrap book items for my site. I have put together a trial kit that everyone can down load from this address.

digi scrap zip file click here to download

The above is in zip form so you need an unzip program to open it. All the files are in PNG format so they have invisible backgrounds so you can layer them and add drop shadows. They can also be resized very easily as they are in 300 dpi.

Here is a thunbnail of the kit.

Let me know what you think. This is my first kit so it may have somethings that aren't quite right. Let me know if you like the things I have made. :hug:

That is lovely Mardar and so fresh looking. Unfortunately although I have a Paintshop pro installed, I haven't a clue how to do digi scrapbooking (or anything else really! :r )

Another beautiful addition to your site. :thumbup;

Thank you everyone. I have been striving to make the elements look as realistic as possible. It has been a challenge but so much fun to manipulate the designs.

I really had a hard time making bows and curled ribbon. I finally broke down and purchased a plug in filter to accomplish this. So I have been making loads of curled ribbons and bows this week.

After I figure out how to make something it is really easy to make lots of different designs. I just learned how to make a zipper night before last. That was a real challenge. :D I was pleased with how it turned out. Here is the first one I made. It is all drawn from scratch in my paint program.

I think it looks rather realistic. :thumbup;

Steve it is very easy. You just paste the item as a new layer and can them select it and resize, turn, and place it where you like. :hug:

:ta: Mardar :thumbup; There seem to be lots kicking around at the moment which have had the layers flattened by saving them as jpegs :wacko: I can only assume that many of those are either rip-offs or being passed down chains where folk don't get the need to maintain the png format ;)

Are we likely to see some of your famous gingham designs? :thumbup;

Steve I'm sure some of the files you are talking about are indeed from someone lifting them from someone else and then not knowing that they have to maintain the PNG file format. Goes to show that thieves aren't very smart. ;)

I have a couple of ideas for some gingham kits. Maybe baby colors and some for spring. I love the gingham and tartan patterns really well as you can tell. :D I always seem to slip one or two of those in my printables. :D :thumbup;

Too right, Mardar :D Wonderful when folk "save space" by converting some files to jpeg :r

I can imagine a certain couple of folk who'd be interested in nice blue baby boy stuff ;) :huggy: Ginghams and tartans are definitely excellent :thumbup;
