Jen, the chances are that it's actually uPVC, which will be a benefit in the sunny weather uPVC does help reduce harmful ultraviolet radiation to some degree
These days, it's usually very high quality, too
You also have the advantages of it being harder to break but cheaper to replace panes that do get damaged
At the height of summer, you may need some screening/whitewash to protect your plants from overheating, but that's true of glass as well
The biggest downside is the light weight, if you get severe gales
As long as it's anchored firmly and the wind can't get into it, it should be fine though ![]() Steve

? Sewed seeds? Should this be in the sewing thread! I know you must have meant sowed! I'm being picky, I'm sorry
It's too windy up here for pvc greenhouses, although they are probably stronger now, but about 20 years ago, our neighbour had one, but it ripped to shreds and the frame just bent out of shape during gales I would echo what Steve says, and find somewhere protected from the wind and fasten it down securely. Good luck with the gardening, it's a bit wet here today and still too cold for gardening! <_<

You better put a few ropes in there to help you sail it.
I want one of those greenhouses, you'll have to keep us updated on how you like it. |
