I was filling time in at the end of a pottery class when I came across a mould in the kiln room, it is really ment for slip but I thought I would have a go at pressing some clay into it, I did it as a bit of a joke, china figures are soooo not my cup of tea, and we had a good laugh when she came out of the mould! mags said she looks kind of evil! :ph43r: one of the other ladies thought I should call her baby jane! :r so I glazed her and here she is.......we had a debate as to what exactly she has in her apron, the face of an angel but they are the worst sort eh? :r
she is glazed with brush on glaze called grape splash, it has crystals in it so that when it fires it bursts with different colours!

I very much doubt it! :r :r :r I fancied black with red eyes but we didnt have any black glaze! :r :r :r :r :groan

the teacher loved it and raved on about it for ages, ( most of us were trying not to snigger at the time! ) :blink: :blink: I guess it would be a very dull world if we all liked the same thing though eh? :r :r :r

this has to be the ugliest thing Ive ever made ( yet! ) lol now I want mags to make it an ugly twin! :r :r :r :r :thumbup;

I wouldnt go as far as to say she is ugly Catherine, but I would say she has a load of empty ink bottles in her apron and she is saying "I didnt touch the ink Mommy" :P

Shes kind of cute and I am sure that there is a little spot in your house that would suit her just fine :thumbup;
