Good to hear you are feeling a little better today Jen, take it easy for today :thumbup;

I have been out in the garden since early this morning and I must say it is starting to look like my garden again, its amazing what weeding and digging will do to a garden! Just got to mow again tomorrow, and plant my peas and beans :thumbup;

I am now taking the rest of the day off and relaxing eating choclates :choc: - might even get a paint in later ;)

Happy Easter :D

Too late Sally !!!

I am afraid I had to help hubby again today while he is in the mood for it .....

we have started digging the second pit for a raised bed and put soil in first one ..

. then we started digging out the grass for the patio and i have been dumping it upside down in the pit...

we have just laid the slabs along to see roughly how many we need,(there wont be nearly enough to do it as big as i wanted to!!!

We have finished for today, both shattered!!!

I also did 1 1/2 hour walk with Jet this morning all along the downs , lovely walk... we saw lots of bunnies and pheasants and some ducks ...

I think i forgot to tell you this... yesterday when i was moving the turf pille i discovered 2 lovely little frogs ,(1 of which was lime green ) , also when i was moving the old carpet back i found a gorgeous little mouse in the folds of it , think he was a field mouse , but sooo sweet and i dont know who was more surprised out of the 2 of us!!!

I have had a bad head all day but the pills are beginning to kick in so i will put my feet up for a bit now.....

DH found out yesterday that instead of getting loads of bags of compost repeatedly, we can ring the company and they will deliver a ton of it for £28 so thats what i will do after the holidays.. another huge bag in the front garden !.... oh well it can keep the huge bag of sand company!! :r :r :r :r :r :r

We also have to get our old dog,Sasha to the vets again to have her claws cut!!!

Another big bill!!

Got to do as much as poss this week as we have number2 daughter and family coming next sunday,

Jen, you aren't half a glutton for punishment eh?LOL! :r
I bet your garden looks brilliant when it is established? :thumbup;
Have good soak and get those aches and pains sorted.
I have been in my garden this afternoon, just cutting dead wood and old plant stalks away. It is amazing how tidy that makes it look. BUt it's been cold today though. :yip:

Todays bulletin...

I planted up the first raised bed with peas, broad beans,(growing well before i transplanted them), this lot are all seeds.... perpetual spinach,carrots and lolla rosso lettuce....

planted more seeds in the greenhouse, which is heaving ... and Sally I have loads of my seeds coming through , not quite as quickly as yours have though !!

DH has laid 22 slabs ,(part of the new patio ) we wony have enough slabs to do one as big as i had planned but never mind .. its looking good...

I looked up my little mousey i found and he is quite rare hes a lemon throat, cause they have pure white underneath and the fieldmouse is greyer underbelly,
i am a mine of information arent i??? not !!!!! been reading my countryside book!! :r :r :r :r :r
