Hi Everyone ![]() Me and huby have been doing the garden for the past week or so and finally yesterday got everything done that could be done, so I thought I would share some pics with you... 'Rockery' ![]() Up the path ![]() My Water Fountain ![]() Cornflower seeds! ![]() I am so glad that most of the hard work is done, now its just a case of keeping on top of the jobs - weeds, mowing etc, and then we can sit back and enjoy through the summer Pity about the fence on the left side, we did pay to have both sides fenced even though only one side is ours, was hoping for a miracle and hoping the neighbours offer to pay towards a new Sally ![]() |

Your garden is looking lovely Sally...... well done on those seeds... Cornflowers???? pretty flowers they are....... Re your fence problem ..... we have a prob here ... there are 6 panels at the bottom of our garden , sorry , were! one was wobbly and the guy who owns the fence came up and introduced himself ... seems nice guy , intelligent , easy to talk to ... he was worried because we had a thick wire attached to HIS fence and he was worried about the fence damaging his garage!!! I said it was nothing to do with us , the last people must have put it there and i duly removed it ... we had a few bad stormy nights and done came the fgence and the post, with cable attached into our garden!!! havent seen anything of him.. he should be back today though as he lectures at our college... cant let my big doggie out there... and poor Sasha if she went down there she could easily end up in his pond!! I might add that there is one panel only basically held up by our compost bin and another waving in the wind further along. he has another house in Brighton so i am sure he could get someone to do HIS fencing! DH is sooo tired but has done a great joblaying the slabs... he shouldnt have done it really as he has spinal probs ... i made him stay in bed this morning to rest his back, bless him... i think we can do 2 more rows with what we have got, so unfortunately my patio will only be half what i wanted!! Never mind, i will put some pics up later to bore you with , Jenx |

Wonderful garden Sally, mine doesn't appear as tidy as that, but i have things that need just tidying and tweeking, such as weeds? I canot bend too much, my knees swell and hurt, so i have to do it little bursts. An hour or so at a time suits me. Pity about the fence Jen, we have fencing at the back of us, but it definately HIS fence. He does replce it when it blows down though. We got so fed up when our side fence kept blowing down we had a wall built, much better and tidier than the warped fence panels too? Poppy |

Poppy we have een working on the garden for 7 years now, it was a jungle when we moved in and a pity that all the surrounding gardens are jungles too, so our nice tidy garden gets all the rubbish and dandelions from everyone else, and there is a school at the back, so we get crisps wrappers etc blowing through the fencing. Makes me feel proud though when I look down the rows and our garden stands right out Sally

It is hard work Steve trying to keep on top of all the jobs with having a big garden, but come summertime when I am sitting in my garden, enjoying it with my friends and family all that hard work is definitely worth it Sally

I know just what you mean Sally. Last summer i sat out in the back garden under the massive Buddlieas I like to grow and did my watercolour painting, It was bliss to be able to do that. Poppy. |
