I am thrilled , but OH said i won't be when it eats all my plants?
I was washing up and looked out to the pot side of my back garden and there between the pots was a little wild Bunny, merrily chomping away on my crop of dandelions? :yip:
I thought i was seeing things? It ran under a bush of corn flowers and froze and i tried to get a photo.
Me saying, ' Come on , come on out, i won't hurt you , I just want to get a photo of you?'
to which my unseen neighour shouted from his garden, 'Leave that man alone!' :red: :lolol: :r
ooooooopse don't know what he thought was going on? :r :r

I love it when wildlife puts in an appearance in gardens :thumbup; Unfortunately, there's precious little chance of that here

Well in all my 9 years here that is the first Bunny I have seen in my garden?
They are all around on the verges and fields as you go out of the village, but not usually in our gardens.
The awful thing is I got the village newsletter the other day and it called for residents who own guns to join a rabbit cull this and other weekends! :o I am sad about this, but what do people expect when they live rurally?
Hope i see him again.
Suppose i should sign off as Beatrix Poppy now? :r :r :r

I have absolutely no time for "culling" It's an activity born in the minds of the bloodthirsty! Our wildlife is under ever increasing pressure from new construction and sickness and starvation will, sadly, reduce populations of wild animals - why hasten the process of extinction?

:thumbup; Steve .. I quite agree!!

Poppy .. I thought of you this morning while walking my Jet... we were just preparing to come off the common and right in front of us a little baby bunny jumped up and ran like the wind when he realised there was a human and a VERY interested doginches away from him!! Poor little thing I dont know who was the more surprised ... usually we get phesants in the long grass jump out in front of us but thats our first bunny! The funniest thing was that Jet kept thinking she was going to catch it ... not a chance as he flew for his little life across the common..
