Today i saw a pair of green finches,( ithink) and a blue *careful!* in my garden ... I was wondering why "Bluetit" was edited to "careful" when a bluetit is such a lovely bird (0f the wildlife variety)l I hope all your aches and pains have gone now and that you feel a good sense of satisfaction after a few hours in the garden, I know I always do! @ Gazzer, but you are right.Jen you must be so achy doing all that, i did loads last week and i am still walking worse than my arthritic granny used to? I know what you mean when you say the birds are passing the word around. My garden was so sterile when i moved in, apart from the 100 rose trees that were well, slightly past it? I dig them all out gradually and with the hedge i planted and all the flowers, shrubs and trees I got all the lovely beauitful birds and wildlife came to this corner of the green instead of flying past. Even my neighbour who is just as keen a gardener as me says the same. Poppy |
