Well! For those of you who Wanted to see mine, I have just made another Album on Photo Bucketcalled "Gazzers Garden" so you can click the link below and see the before and after photo's if yer like !

I'll add more to it as it progresses and this years flowers come out to play.

There was a lot of hard graft, but I think the effort was worth while. Because of debbie's illness and my own Arthritis, I wanted to make it as maintinace free as possible so that we only have to attend to the pots, hanging baskets and painting and pressure washing. As you will see, the bottom end (at he side of the garage) isn't finnished yet, still a fair bit to do.

I hope you like the photo's, there are to many to try to put them on here lol.

Right Jen, I've showed you mine, Now show me yours :r :r :r

Thanks for all the lovely comments I really appreciate them.

I decided to transform the garden in the first place purly for Debbie so that she had somehwere to sit on the warm days and in the fresh air. Debbie absolutely loves flowers and the fresh air so I thought I'd do something about it.

I painted all the pots or at least some of them (the more colourful ones) even made a few wooden ones including the wheelbarrow in my little DIY workshop (garage - lol)

When all the heavy work was done, I encouraged Debbie to do the planting of some seeds. Nearly all the flowers that you can see is what debbie grew from seed. I wanted Debbie to be able sit outside in the sunny weather and to be able to look around at all the colour and feel that she played a big part in all the hard work. I suppose at the end of the day when people visit the first thing they see is all debbie's work with her flowers.

Every single plant that you see is what Debs has either planted herself, or grown them from seed (thats why I built her the mini greenhouse out of some scrap wood) I just carried the pots and placed them wherever she wanted them. My little plan worked a treat and she now has a new interest or hobby.

The plants and flowers that you see in the photo's are all last years crop, I don't we are going to have to many this year, because of Debbie having the baby we haven't been able to get everything prepared or seeds planted.

At the moment, it doesn't look as though much is going to get done out doors this because Debbies seizures seemed to have started coming back and I am in the middle of gutting the bedroom, stairs and landing, building wardrobes etc. We've been sleeping down stairs since Debs had Jacob.

Thanks again for the lovely comments, I'll let you all know when I've added some more photo's worth looking at lol.

Love gazzer XXxxXX

Awww thanks Sally, I will show her your message as soon as she wakes up again, she's not to good this morning so I told she's got to rest for the remainder of the day and go back to sleep for a while. I could see it in her eyes, if I hadn't have done that she would have collapsed and had a seizure.

:huggy:

Wow - what a transformation Gary, it was like watching an episode of Ground Force.....fascinating.....you both must be very proud. :thumbup; :thumbup; :thumbup;

Now the hard work's done it'll be great just watching it mature and change through the seasons and in a few years, little Jacob will be there (if he's anything like Kasi was) bucket and spade - planting his first peas.

Sorry to hear you're not too well Debbie - I didn't know - hope whatever's wrong will improve soon.....

Love x  PS I put some runner bean seeds in pots 5 days ago - they're 6" high today ........ have a I bought a bag of triffids

Thanks Jen, I passed on your message to Debbie along with the other messages and she's quite touched by such a caring community (Debs words not mine - lol)
I'm glad to tell you all that she seems ok again now, but thats how Debbies illness is, it can change again within 1 minute. She thanks you all sincerly for all your kind words.

Tell you Hubby that when he's replacing the windows in the greenhouse to attach them to elastic bands and secure with a little Blue Tack, That way, if they blow out again, they will just flirt right back into place (Good Theory eh!).

I have a problem with seagulls boming my garden, they have the whole of Blackpool to bomb, but for some unknown reason, they love bombing my garden. It's a good job I've got a pressure washer. If I could just catch one of them.

Great pics, Gary :thumbup; A lot of work with a huge reward :) Debbie, I'm sure that you'll get huge pleasure from the colour and fragrance on the warm days - bless Global Warming, eh? :thumbup; Sorry that you've had a tougher than usual time recently, especially when by all rights you should be just enjoying Jacob :huggy:

Gary, you should be pleased about the seagulls - companies pay plenty for guano :r :r

Steve :)
