The links above are to sites for Shrines? It's a new craze that is set to become as big as ATC's. I love the goddess one. :thumbup;
The shrines originally began for religious worship, but the idea has been adapted to craft form.
There are some beautiful examples here. If you click on the individual ones they show more detail and you can appreciate how beautiful they are. :thumbup;

Not sure about these, myself ;) Perhaps it's the "Shrine" name but I don't think it's something I'd get involved in, even from a purely crafting angle :) Interesting though :ta:

i have altered tins, but not into shrines! not sure that sde of it appeals to me, love altering tins though, use alcohol inks and have loads of fun. i will try to post a pic when i work out gallery's and stuff!
