Hi Sally, my blue geraniums have tight buds on, the pink one has a sprinkling of open flowers, my oriental poppies are still tight buds, so you must have had it a bit warmer were you are ;) the Osteospermum is going for gold, and is the same colour as yours :thumbup;

my Acanthus has gome nuts too!!!!!!

Magz must be the right growing conditions for the Acanthus, last year it was really disappointing when it flowered so I am hoping that this year will be spectacular :D

My Cistus bush flowered last year but only a couple of flowers at a time, this year it is covered in gorgeous creamy flowers and looks fab :thumbup;

Hi Sharon

Yes Geraniums can get a bit out of hand if you let them, last year my Dad told me that when the flowers have finished to cut it right back to the ground, I did and it came back the same year with even more flowers, my Blue/Purple geranium is like a bush and looks grogeous when the sun shines on it B)

Happy Gardening

You are welcome Sharon :D

When you cut it back, go as short as you can, it wont look very nice but you should get all new growth and better flowers :thumbup; Let me know how it goes :thumbup;

Hi Sally - what's going on??? just seen Magz's flowers, and now your fantastic blooms......it looks like summer wherever you are.... :blink: :unsure:

Absolutely love the rhododendrons......

Down here, like Poppy said, bluebells are only just over, and everything else is in bud, except for the odd rose and antirhinum...antirynnum......anti....of blow - bunny rabbit........

And yet my variegated wygellia has finished????

Mad.......

Love x :wave:
