Need Help; for hubbys birthday

Its hubbies bday friday and I am stumped as to what to make for him as a card..........He has recently become a bus driver-still training and all he talks about is busses...........Dont spose anyone has any crafy bus bits going free :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Bus things are so not in my craft stuff-over than that I really cant think-

hi jinny, I havent got anything to send you, but how about getting some clip art of old style bus tickets, and a print out of the bus route and time table, maybe a map of the area he is going to drive around ;)

a little paper folding tecniques and I am sure you can make something "busssy" for hubby

Jinny I agree with your mum, why not get a local street map and some clipart of scottish buses, along with some bus tickets (maybe the kids have them for the school run)

Thanks Sally for that link--No ink :( So it loos like I will have to draw and paint a bus.......and then get a map and perhaps a bus time table to mat and layer up-well I have more of an idea but please keep them coming girls :thumbup; :D

Did hubbies card in the end and used his wage packet as it has stagecoach all over it and found some old notes of his that had buses on it and matted up the word BUS and stuck happy birthday on it too

When batteries are charged I will post pic :thumbup;

Well, I'm sure whatever you come up with, it'll be brilliant!

Long story, but last year when on holiday, my hubby got overtaken by a hearse (I kid you not) and he's never lived it down, so this year for his 50th Emily is making him a model hearse out of old bits and pieces. The bodywork is a margerine carton, which she is going to cover over with paper and PVA glue and eventually paint! It amazes me where she gets her ideas from and is always very inventive!

Perhaps you could do something similar and make a 3D card in the shape of a bus with a pic of your hubby in the front windscreen?

Just a thought!
