Oddly Coloured Iris

This is an oddly coloured iris, it looks nicer in the photo then it does in real life, the real colour is more of a peach with the purple, not sure if I like this flower!

I'm not sure what this is called, it was supposed to be royal blue ;) . I told M the next time we go carreening around the woods on his ATV, I'm taking some bags and a small garden shovel, and collecting some of the flowers from the woods.

Myall time fave Iris, is the slender purple one Sibirica, and then the purple beared one and then the sky blue Song of Norway and then the lilac beared one and then the>>>>>>>>>>>>>Oooooooooooooooo I just love Iris's. :thumbup;

:lol: :lol: But that's how we get most of our flowers ~ unless of course it's a protected area. I was talking to a guy last night who is going to be building on an old abandoned farm, he said the old flower garden is still there and since they'll be bulldozing it over to come help ourselves, my friend is going over this morning to save some of the old roses and peony bushes. You just can't buy the old fashioned ones anymore.
It's funny other then petunias everything grows here in the wild anyway from irises to trilliums. I want to go get soem trilliums, I lvoe them. They'll be nice along my barn, it's rocky and shady there so they'll love it and spread.

Wow... Thats lovely ... old roses .. I love them sooo much ... I have an old musk rose that has a heavenly scent... and apart from that they are so pretty arent they ??
