Jenny acquired some great things yesterday - the rest will be found posted about in The Studio
Years ago, I used to love weaving Jenny brought home a Spear's Weaving Loom (Size 3) which is great! There's a book of patterns, but unfortunately the instructions are missing After all this time, it's going to take a lot to remember how to set the loom up! I've checked on the internet but haven't been able to find the instructions anywhere
I did notice that the SIze 4 loom is selling for about £20 though

I'd ask you all to keep your fingers but you'd all get cramp ![]() Steve |

My dad was not all that keen on it for a start,he had a car accident which left him confined to a wheelchair and bored,he ended up going to a day centre and loved it,they made baskets to sell as well as for family,i can say i would never part with the bin dad made even though its falling apart.

Cheryl, it certainly does encourage new direction
I doubt I would be doing art or such if I hadn't ended up in a wheelchair
It's amazing just what a difference it can make, having something to occupy the mind and hands ![]() Virginia, can you post me an Amish person to teach me? ![]() Steve |

I remember weaving a scarf at school, the loom was quite big and I had to carry it on 2 buses to get to school! Good luck Steve, I wonder if someone has the instructions somewhere! <_< You could weave Jenny a pashmina!

If only I knew what one was, Jo
I have to confess now This is a kids loom, and I'd forgotten the golden rule Instructions are on the inside of the lid ![]() Cheryl, it's amazing just how quickly we can adapt to a new situation And how often folk find out just what they can do if they are motivated enough

I would post you an Amish person but they would have to go airmail and they only fly in cases of severe emergency. Do you know what's funny though, they're allowed to have cellphones now as long as they're not in the house, so you'll see one of the black buggies going by and the guy or lady will be talking on the cell.
Glad you found the instructions and as your friend I can honestly say...
