I am currently in the process of experimenting with the creation of an online store through which all CB members can sell their items This store will not make any money for CB itself and is simply a service to members
If you are interested in using this service, please PM or email me
As a matter of interest, the standard "Gross Profit" expected for retail sales is apparently 30%, though some variation between items can be expected. Most folk undervalue their items, by costing them by the cost of replacing materials "plus a bit". This obviously doesn't take into account labour. I'd recommend that you at least consider your time as an element in pricing, and perhaps also include a "P&P" cost At this point in time, if you have items for sale, it will be necessary to email me with full details including pics, so that I can add them to the store If you can't see a category that you think should be included, please do mention that
I've put three items in the store already, which should give you a guide to the kind of information required for items
If you have any specific details, such as customisation, that you'd like included, please do specify that ![]() You can find the store here Steve |

girls I look forward to getting the details of your items ![]() Poppy, if you click on the "Continue" button, It will say that you're a Guest just below the pics of items at the top and ask if you want to create an account Clicking on "My Account" at the top right will allow you to log in or join too
Obviously, as with all new things, there may be a few hiccoughs at the outset, but I love how professional the store looks and how easy it is to navigate If anybody has any suggestions for the "Conditions of Use", "Privacy Policy" and/or "Shipping & Returns" pages, I'm happy to consider them for inclusion
As this is an ongoing development, there may be features that I haven't found yet I have, for example, discovered that there is a special option to allow "attributes" for items, so you could have different sizes at set prices, or extra costs for particular options
For example, you could have:Fairy Door - Small @ £10 - Med @ £15 - Large @ £20 Just let me know what the options are and I'll make sure that it works that way As you would be a "Manufacturer", please do tell me what name you'd like to use, as we obviously have to avoid duplications and you may prefer not to use your real name Steve |

I'm looking forward to seeing the store grow
Poppy, the joining part is standard as it's a Customer information system DOB confirms that you're old enough to buy online legally
To have items listed, you don't have to join the site, you can see everything as a Guest, but you wouldn't be able to buy from it
The only requirement to sell is that you're a member of CB ![]() Steve |

An update to the arrangements: I've activated the "currencies" option so that prices can be viewed in US Dollars and Euros This basically uses a conversion rate based on a set date but rounded for convenience
I will endeavour to update this periodically ![]() I have now found a way to place P&P against an item, based on destination, e.g. UK only/UK - US/UK - Europe If you want to make your products available to overseas customers, please note that you will need to provide the shipping (P&P) cost that you expect to apply
If you don't, then it will be assumed that you will only ship to the UK
You do not have to live in the UK to take advantage of the store! If you live outside the UK, just state that and the currency that your prices and P&P/Shipping are quoted in ![]() Steve
