I was always intrigued how they do the waterfall cards. I came across it tonight on C&c and decided to do one. This is my first attempt at the technique. I used some scraps of my decorative paintings and made it into an ATC. The background is on gold ribbed card. Sorry, the scan isn't too good.

They are so easy to do. :thumbup; You pull the ribbon and the whole 4 layers flip open.

Excellent, Poppy :thumbup;

I must admit, I could never figure out the "why" on Create & Craft as they use exactly the same pic on each part :blink: It makes much more sense to use different pics, though ;) Would be particularly good for sending three or four pics of your kids/grandkids - or maybe post-wedding thank you cards :) Would also be fun for special birthdays/anniversaries, with pics through the years :D That, to me, seems so obvious that I really couldn't understand why C&C persisted with same-image waterfalls :wacko:

I agree Steve, this works because all the images are different, they look similar so they tone well.

Also agreethey'd make lovely wedding invitaions too?
Did some cards early this morning too.
I am addicted.
