Hi Everyone.

I've just added a step by step method to customise a die cut flower.

You can see the method on my Blog.

Hope that you enjoy it.

:ta: Yvonne great idea and really pretty, this could also be painted with wax and would give some great effects, I may just have to have a go :thumbup;

Another thing you can do which is bordering on Floral Punch Craft is that you can take a large embosing tool( the rounded end of a pen if you don't have one) and emboss each flower petal on the wrong side, just press and flick the end of the tool to make it curve. Turn over and indent each petal with 1 stroke of the tool from the centre upto the middle of each petal. That gives you a realistic movement of each petal.
This is better to do on a padded surface, i tend to use a piece of funky foam or use a padded diary.

Sorry Sally,
Embossing is gently raising the image either on the back or the front. In this case the embossing is done on both sides. It adds realistic movement to things, especially petals.
The tool you do it with is a round ball tool, you can get them in different sizes, the bigger the ball tool the more you can raise the image.
