My first Tea bag card using Steve's plaid papers, the folding on the tea bag is a bit uneven must practise more :D

Steve the plaid pattern on the teabag is smaller than the one you scanned in, I reduced the size for a smaller teabag and I really like these papers so a big thank you from me :ta:

:ta: so much, Eileen :) Your card looks wonderful :thumbup; I do tend to go for a slightly larger size so that they can be shrunk down but don't lose quality so quickly if you want large tiles ;) May I put it on my Photobucket with cards made using the sheets and such that I've made please? :)

If you're short of ink, girls, don't forget that http://www.hornetcs.co.uk/ are excellent in price and speed ;)

Also, if you want paler versions, changing your printer settings to "Draft" quality will do that as well as saving on ink :D

Beautiful card Eileen, very effective. :thumbup;

That's the trouble with printing your own backing sheets isn't it, it uses so much ink? I would have trouble with that because i have an all in one cartridge and certain colours would run out way before the others would, making printing to true colours difficult after a time? I must take that into account when i next buy a printer. ( an epsom me thinks with photo card reader too).

Poppy, Epson usually do work out much cheaper as the cartridges (compatibles of course) are much lower prices thanks to the volumes they make :thumbup; You can get little Epsons that are perfect for this kind of thing for about £25 so they're not too expensive to have as a secondary printer either ;) Of course, if you must have a card reader built in then the price will be higher :)

A lovely card Willow using Steve's tiles. How did you do the white backing? I love the lacy edging. :thumbup;

:ta: Thank you Jo and Virginia. :huggy: :huggy:

Jo I have a Fiskars border punch that I used for the edges of this card, lined it up underneath the punch first then checked it was still lined up on top and punched along the edge of the card. :D
