Go here - http://www.stitchopedia.com/FreeLongStitchDownload.html
for a free long stitch design download of Boris, The Boxer (He's a dog, not an athelete). He is the first of a 4-piece set of dogs. Each design is 20" x 16" when complete. This is an excellent choice for beginners (or old pros). The only stitches required for this piece are long stitch (for Boris, the dog) and brick stitch (for the background). Simply print the design, lay the 10-mesh canvas over the design, trace the design onto the canvas, mount the canvas on whatever type of needlepoint frame you prefer to work with and start stitching!!! An easy piece to work that becomes an exciting piece to look at when complete. You will want to frame Boris when you are done - we chose the 20" x 16" size because that is a common frame size and easy to find. Anyway, check him out...Happy Stitchin'...
