Willow i have been making very realistic roses from coffee filter paper andwatercolouring them. Recently i made a special one for a couple in the village who was celebrating their Platinum wedding anniversary.( 70 years) ( IMAGINE that?)

It was gorgeous and i FORGOT to take a picture of it? It was a bookatrix and with the roses, the depth was almost 3".

Here's one almost identical that i made for my friend Julie's 70th birthday a couple of weeks ago, and sent it to America! :thumbup;

:thumbup; I echo Willow Poppy, those Roses are beautiful. Even with a tut I don't think mine would look like Roses! :r

That's gorgeous, Poppy! :nw: I think the fact that the roses turn out differently every time is a great plus, personally :thumbup;

Beautiful card Poppy, and those Roses are stunning, I have to agree with Steve, the fact that they come out differently every time makes them more realistic :thumbup;

I would love to have a go :thumbup;
