I think thicker paper with a slight sheen to it works best for this? I have seen papers on Joanna sheens site which are discribed as ideal for decoupage ? Someone said PC world and STaplers have packs of thicker papers suitable for decoupage also? Hugs Poppy |

I tend to think it depends on the kind of decoupage you're doing
Some works really well on vellum, others on standard weight paper, but most do work best with heavier paper
Staples do sell a very smooth, heavy paper which isn't hugely expensive, or you could go to an online supplier
Some places, unfortunately, do tend to charge rather a lot for their paper though
The one most often quoted is: http://www.printit-at.com/default.asp They aren't the cheapest though
