I think thicker paper with a slight sheen to it works best for this? I have seen papers on Joanna sheens site which are discribed as ideal for decoupage ?
Someone said PC world and STaplers have packs of thicker papers suitable for decoupage also?

I tend to think it depends on the kind of decoupage you're doing ;) Some works really well on vellum, others on standard weight paper, but most do work best with heavier paper :) Staples do sell a very smooth, heavy paper which isn't hugely expensive, or you could go to an online supplier :) Some places, unfortunately, do tend to charge rather a lot for their paper though :(

The one most often quoted is: http://www.printit-at.com/default.asp ;) They aren't the cheapest though :)

Steve :)
