phew, yesterday saw a mental bidding war on my red white and blue blanket that left me with the most awful headache and I was worn out by the end of the auction! I was not entirely sure that it would even sell but then it was being watched by 9 people at once...then It was bid on......and again and again and then two ladies out bid each other every hour untill the final amount for the blanket came to £43! ok so I know I always sell my self short but honestly! :faint:
I was just about ok with it when it was at £24 as that is about the amount that you could buy it for at a craft fair...but as the price rose so did my blood pressure! having said that, I had a look at the other items the particular ebay member had purchased recently and she seems to have been buying tons of Quinny buggy items.....all the buggy's and carry cots that quinny make are red! so she obviously wanted a nice blanket to match! well, I am off to start another which according to sods law probably won't sell! lol!
