seeing as it was half term this week and I was not at work, and the girls were off I managed to make 2 beauties this week!

I am loving this one, if you go into the baby departments of any of the high street shops, the boys clothes feature alot of light blue, taupe and cream and sometimes they mix grey marl with blue so I rummaged in my stash and found these colours....I think they go really well!

and I was asked to make another red, white and blue...I love this one and I am slightly loathed to part with it! I was asked by my out bid buyer to put it on buy it now so I did!

this measures 100cm from point to point across and 84cm from top tip to bottom!

WOW well done Catherine, that other buyer MUST have wanted the baby blanket so much?I hope she paid almost what she would have done had she bid for it? :thumbup;
They are gorgeous, and yes tose colours are very popular for boys at the moment. J has a jumper in those colours which he looks fabulous in. :thumbup;

Shall we call you "flying fingers" from now on then? :r :r :r

well she has not brought it yet, I hope she was not expecting to pay £3.00 like the small ones! seeing as she commissioned it! ( I am holding on to this one if it dose not sell and keeping it to enter into the town show in the summer!) :thumbup; :crossed: :thumbup;

update.....she brought it and sent me a lovely message saying how gutted she was to miss out on the other one! :sold: :sold: :sold: :sold: :sold: :thumbup;

Well done.

I put it on for £24 as it was aprox 400g of aran weight wool and wool blend yarn, it took me about 12 hours to make all together....and its really hard to put a price on these things insnt it, its the same with paintings, but she really wanted it so I guess I priced it about right! blowing my own trumpet for a second, I have to say it was really rather lovely and I would have been very happy to keep it! :thumbup;

I would have been tempted to ask for the price she was out bid at, seeing she was prepared to pay that in the first place. AND also it was commissioned by her? Still £24 is a good price. I am so pleased SOMEONE is making money from their talents anyway Catherine. WELL DONE, get them fingers flying again!!! :r :r :r
