I found this link by accident? and i am enormously inspired by it, as i hope you all will be? It is a range of fantastic landscape stamps that i would think could be very useful in our Encaustic work??? But what is more, is that there are background tuorials attached to the site which i think could also be useful if applied to doing them in Encaustic Art? Hope you get something from the many tutorials and stamp images on here? Hugs Poppy http://www.stampscapes.com/lessonset.html USA site UK site; http://www.stampscapes.co.uk/home.html |

Thanks for the links Poppy. The stamps look really useful - I know what you mean about them being applied to EA. The lessons look really good - didn't know you could do all that with stamps! Sal |

I think they're superb and can really see them working well with wax Steve

I find them a little expensive, but very very beautiful? Although, having said that, when i checked out the uk site the themed sheets were quite reasonable. and the P&P is cheaper than C&C also!! I LOVE the Lakes one. I can see me using that a lot as the individual elements work together very will in making different scenes? So maybe i will buy some afterall! Hugs Poppy OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI just sw the spacemen and rocket themed ones? Wouldn't they look just Wonderful for Enacustic moonscapes??? http://www.stampscapes.co.uk/unmounted11.html |

I persuaded a couple of cyber friends to get and try these stamps and they think they are fabulous? The unmounted Butterflies sheet would make fantastic 3D embellishments for cards, done in encaustic and sealed. They work well on photo paper and with dye ink pads for the backgrounds if you are not into encaustic or want a different effect? Also the Lakeside scnenes would make wonderful mens cards, as suitable images a for mens cards are quite hard to come by, and all these stamps are nterchangeable so you would get a good variation od scenes, by using the different stamps and by using different colours ? As they are sold wholesale, i was really wondering ad HOPING too, that Barry would stock these? I'd certainly buy some from him. Hint hint? Hugs Poppy |
