A card I made for my cousin's wedding. I saw the question below on aperture cards, so here's how I did it...

First I made the decoupage topper, using the bottom layer as the base

Next I put a backing paper in the aperture, by putting DSS round the aperture, then sticking the backing card to it (It doesn't show up well in the scan, but it's a slightly pearlescent card, with a self pattern of roses, which looks lovely against the completely white card). Then I used more DSS to close the aperture(at this stage you can still turn the card upside down if you close it the wrong way... I have been known to give friends back to front cards, and tell them it's chamingly quirky, not weird or a mess up at all!) .

Once the card was prepared I used yet more DSS (*I am Blue Peter generation!) to put the bride and groom in place. Then I added the stickers to finish it off
