my first ever design....

I have been planing my first ever design for a while, after exhausting the libary of all known crochet books....
I tired a hexagon pin wheel pattern a few months back, I liked the overall efect but could not work out a way to stop the chains from becoming so long in the spaces! I managed it with alot of unraveling bits of crochet and some hard thinking as to how to make it work!
here is the result, a blanket I have named " spiral spaces"

this is worked in rounds that join in dc....when I get chance to write the pattern down I will post it in the members only section!

I am now working on a fading one like my fading stars.....its looking good so far! I have had time to crochet today as I have been looking after the kids! :)
